Hello, I just came accross your blog looking for a reliable website for the history of the ao dai. I’m currently writing a research paper about the ao dai in terms of national identity and in comparison to the qipao, and I was wondering if you could help me out. I’ve been trying to find scholarly works on the ao dai, but it would appear they are few and far between. Have you found any online sources for a reliable history of the ao dai that you’d be willing to share?
If you could email me at jess.lefton@gmail.com, I’d be very grateful!
